Hand carved in Zambia, this salad-serving set brings natural character and thoughtful craftsmanship to the table. Each server is made from locally sourced Zambian hardwood and finished with an etched inlay of upcycled Nguni cow bone.

The set was designed and created in collaboration with husband-and-wife artisans Patrick and Mailika Zulu in Zambia’s capital. Every pair reflects the materials and hands that shaped it, so variations in wood tone, grain, bone pattern, and size make each set completely unique.

Smaller hardwood branches are used whenever possible—pieces that might otherwise become firewood or charcoal. The bone is a byproduct sourced from a local meat manufacturer, giving an existing material a new purpose.
